Head-to-head rap battles. Community-driven competitions. Real prizes. Here's everything you need to know.
CypherPit is a skill-based competition platform where two artists go head-to-head in rap battles. You watch, vote on who's winning, and enter competitions by backing the artist you believe will come out on top. Rewards are distributed based on competition results.
Every battle follows a structured lifecycle. Here's exactly what happens from start to finish:
The battle is announced with both artists shown. Competition entries open early so you can lock in your picks before the action begins.
The countdown starts (90 seconds per round). Both artists' tracks play. You can vote for who you think is winning and enter competitions in real-time. Multipliers update live as entries come in.
When the round timer ends, scores are calculated from crowd votes (50%) and algorithmic performance scoring (50%). Scores range from 0–10 per artist per round.
The next round starts immediately with fresh vote counts. Underground battles have 3 rounds; Quick-Fire battles have just 1.
After the final round, total scores are tallied across all rounds. The artist with the higher cumulative score wins. Competitions resolve and rewards are distributed to correct picks instantly.
During each round, you can vote for who you think is delivering better bars. Voting is free and open to everyone watching.
Each round produces a score (0–10) for each artist. The score is determined by:
The percentage of votes each artist receives directly influences half of their round score. More votes = higher base score.
An algorithmic score based on track quality metrics and battle engagement. Adds variance so outcomes aren't purely a popularity contest.
The artist with the highest total score across all rounds wins. A detailed breakdown is shown after each battle.
Crowd sentiment adjusts reward multipliers. If 70% vote for Artist A, A's multiplier may decrease as more people back them.
You can vote for one artist and enter a competition backing the other. Votes are free; competition entries use GC or SC.
Multipliers tell you how much you'll earn if your pick is correct. They're determined by community confidence in each artist — the more people backing an artist, the lower the multiplier for that pick, and the higher the multiplier for the underdog.
Multipliers update in real-time as competition entries come in. When more people back Artist A, A's multiplier decreases and B's multiplier increases. Crowd votes also influence multipliers slightly — community sentiment matters.
Before you can redeem Sweeps Coins for real cash, you need to use them across competitions on the platform. This is called the activity requirement.
